GTM Script Installer

An internal tool built by Triptease to help hotel businesses install the Triptease integration script on their websites through Google Tag Manager — without manual code changes.

Use the Google account that has access to your Tag Manager containers.

How it works

Instead of copying and pasting script tags, this app connects to your Google Tag Manager account, lets you choose the right container and workspace, and publishes the Triptease tracking script automatically.

Google account permissions

This app uses the Google Tag Manager API on your behalf, and only for the purpose of installing the Triptease integration script. We request these OAuth scopes:

userinfo.email Read your Google email address to identify your session and log installation activity for support.
tagmanager.manage.accounts List the GTM accounts and containers your Google account can access, so you can pick the right one.
tagmanager.edit.containers Read your containers and workspaces and create the Triptease integration tag inside the workspace you choose.
tagmanager.edit.containerversions Create a new container version that includes the Triptease tag.
tagmanager.publish Publish that new container version so the Triptease script goes live on your website.

We follow Google's Limited Use requirements: we never use this data for advertising, profiling, credit assessment or training machine-learning models, and we do not transfer it to third parties beyond what is necessary to install the script.

Your OAuth tokens are kept in a signed, HTTP-only session cookie sent only over HTTPS, and expire after 2 days of inactivity. We do not store your GTM data on our servers. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account permissions page. See our privacy policy for full details.
